DESCRIPTION

A self-locking plug ensures a safe and secure seal for the various borescope inspection ports located around the engine case.
At JPB Système, we offer an innovative borescope plug mechanism that eliminates the need for lock-wire. This patented solution addresses current issues associated with borescope plugs, such as loosening due to vibrations or temperature variations and foreign object debris (FOD) caused by lock-wire.

The JPB Système borescope plug is highly inventive and efficient. With no lock-wire involved, it significantly enhances efficiency by allowing the use of standard tools (no need for locking-wire plier). This reduces initial installation, maintenance time and downtime, along with minimizing human error and overall risk.

The plate and body are equipped with notches that function in tandem. When you tighten our borescope plug with a standard tool, the plate and body are pressed together by a spring.
