ELS is a completely retrofitable locking device for self-locking nut. This is a lockwireless anti-rotational fitting for connection to a connector. It could be used in fluid fittings, fuel nozzles applications and more to ensure a secure simple connection every time.
This reusable device provides an enhanced reliability and maintainability alternative to safety wire, deformed threads, tab washers, cotter pins, Locktite, and other commonly used locking elements.
The ELS is an external secondary locking feature which transforms a standard nut into a self locking nut.

The ELS is installed by hand, with no change on male fitting, nut or assembly procedure.
ELS helps to prevent coupling wear, seizures, and leakage troubles and is able to fit any assembly part without change to the existing piece.
For new applications or concepts, an integrated nut with JPB's self locking concept inside could be supplied.

NOTA : During assembly/disassembly, the self locking device engages automatically. The ratchet system guarantees a mechanically secured assembly that will no loosen.
